Incorrect manual handling is one of the most common causes of injury at work and this accounts for over a third of all workplace accidents.

This results in employees taking time off meaning that employers will potentially have pay sick pay and find cover during this time which is not ideal for either parties.

Injured staff will also mean that the workplace is less productive, so ultimately, less profitable too.
