Training and Quality Manager

My role at imperative training and defibshop.co.uk is to primarily manage the trainers and be their first point of contact, as well as providing administrative support to the team and internal verification.

My daily duties include recruiting trainers to join our nationwide team and carry out our engaging courses. I also frequently liaise with our awarding body TQUK to ensure that course contents are correct, up-to-date and standardised.

I aim to build and maintain a good working relationship with all of our trainers, ensuring that the trainer standards are high and consistent across the board, guaranteeing that all our courses run smoothly.

The company value I associate myself with is 'Teamwork'. My team is like my family and we achieve good results by working together.

When I finish work for the day you will find me watching old-school TV game shows... Catchphrase and Crystal Maze are my guilty pleasures, I love them!

Why do you think learning first aid is important?
Accidents can happen to anyone, anywhere and at any time so it's massively important to be prepared and able to act if needed in the event of an accident or emergency.

What's your go-to favourite meal?
I'm a sucker for a donner kebab - anytime, night or day!

What is your perfect type of holiday? Beach? City Break?
I love a mixture of the two! Ideally, a beach holiday with a historic old town to visit and plenty of things to do.
