As a HR Manager for Imperative Training, it's my job to look after the wellbeing of all employees and ensure they are happy within their role and workplace environment.
My role sees me looking after all people-related activities, which includes finding and recruiting employees who match our core company values and ensuring that current employees are happy and engaged in their jobs.
As a company, we know that our employees are the biggest asset we have so we make a big effort to engage and listen to our employees, taking on board their ideas and suggestions to make Imperative the best it can be.
My favourite value is 'Teamwork', I get so much pleasure for seeing people working together and supporting each other, so much more can be achieved with great teamwork. In the words of High School Musical... "We're all in this together".
When I'm not working, you can find me spending time with family and friends. I love cosy nights at home in front of the fire with a good book or film, having friends around for a big Sunday roast or heading off to meet a friend for a walk, a great coffee or even better, a glass of wine!
Why do you think learning first aid is important?
Everyone should know some basic first aid training, as you never really know when you will need it.
If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning a medal for?
Cleaning - I'm one of those weird people that loves it. My husband, however, would say it was talking.
If you could have a superhero power, what would it be?
The power to stop time - there's always so much to do and not enough time and it would be great to have a moment to think of that quick-witted answer that you always think of after an event.
