Marketing Assistant

Support the marketing needs of all the brands within the organisation as well as management of the websites and Social Media

The main duties of this role are to:

  • help to create awareness of and develop the defibshop brand
  • help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns 
  • support the marketing manager and marketing executive in delivering agreed activities
  • communicate with target audiences using appropriate media to build and develop customer relationships
  • maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities
  • monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics
  • work closely with in-house graphic designer to design marketing collateral
  • write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
  • produce creative content, including videos and blog posts 
  • assist in scheduling of social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement
  • work with agencies in line with web support, SEO, PPC, CRO
  • help organise events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
  • maintain and update customer databases in line with GDPR
  • help conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups
  • develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • adhere to and implement company policies and procedures
  • any other duties as required
