Our three day first aid instructor course covers every aspect of the HSE approved first aid at work and emergency first aid at work courses and will enable you to teach these courses with ease and confidence.
Our comprehensive and up to date lesson plans, trainer notes and powerpoint presentations will ensure the courses you teach are interesting, dynamic, practical and relevant to your students.
Your experienced instructor will guide you through the teaching and assessment process allowing you plenty of time to learn about the course you will be teaching and more importantly practicing your presentation style and delivery.
what will I learn during the training?
- Understand your own role, responsibilities and boundaries of role in relation to teaching
- Understand appropriate teaching and learning approaches within a specialist area
- Demonstrate your session planning skills – plan, deliver, observe and evaluate a micro-teaching session
- Understand how to deliver inclusive sessions that motivate learners
- Understand the use of different assessment methods
- Understand and analyse the need for accurate record keeping and procedures that can be adopted – including internal and external assessment information.
- Learn the structure and styles of delivery to successfully teach and assess the full range of HSE first aid courses
All successful candidates will receive a
